On July 19th, 2023 the community is invited to come out to cheer on the locally nominated torch bearers as they run/walk/cycle their way through downtown Okotoks and Diamond Valley with the ATCO torch! Game time for Diamond Valley is 10 am, at the arena and Okotoks ‘kicks off’ at 2 pm from the library.
The Opening Ceremonies for the 2023 Alberta Summer Games will feature a wide variety of acts for this exceptional event. On July 20th, 2023 be prepared to be amazed by local acrobats who, as part of this amazing entertainment package, will be performing from death defying heights! You will get to see firsthand aerial acrobatics and artists portraying a variety of sports through their thrilling performances.
