Re: NDP leader leaving quite the legacy, Jan. 24
I am writing in response to the effusive editorial eulogizing Rachel Notley’s time as leader of the NDP. The four-year interregnum of NDP rule in Alberta was characterized by higher income taxes (which we are still paying), higher corporate taxes (which thankfully have been rescinded) and a carbon tax (never mentioned in her campaign).
I agree that we need a viable opposition, but the NDP is not it.
