Colton wrote this beautiful poem at 10 years old.

“Life is great, but then comes fate
You’ll close your eyes
And have a very long dream
Trapped in darkness with no sunbeam.
You’ll turn to a baby
And go see God, and get reborn
Family ooh’s and awe’s.
Life may be short but don’t worry
With God by your side Life is endless Glory.”

Colton is loved with a love beyond telling,

Missed with a grief beyond tears. To the world, he was just one, To those who knew him, he was their world.

These past three years have been so difficult without our son. But we would like to thank and acknowledge all our friends, family and our amazing community that have helped us to live another day. Your support, dedication, and constant check in’s mean more than words can express. We are so blessed to have you all in our lives.

Love, David, Farole and Colton Kikkert.

Please join us on Saturday, April 27 at 2 pm behind St. Francis of Assisi School, to Celebrate Colton with a Balloon Release (with biodegradable balloons),
Everyone is welcome.
