Access on Cimarron Blvd also needs to be addressed

Dear Editor,

I read with interest your article today on Cimarron traffic. I am a Cimarron resident, and I just wanted to tell you another bit of info on this.

I have driven along Cimarron Blvd many times to get to the bridge and back to home, and more than once have encountered a resident along the boulevard backing out of their driveway on the north side. It's not the backing out that is the problem for me. The problem is that they want to go east, probably to get to the Southbank Business Park, and with the road being divided they are forced into turning around somehow. Usually this means going west for a bit and then at the next opportunity taking a u-turn.

The difficulty with this is that for me, the driver behind them, you just aren't sure what the car in front of you is doing. This just isn't safe. They are swerving right and then left. I get that they want to turn around.

I'm not sure what the solution is. I just think to myself that I would hate living along Cimarron Blvd. The residents along the south side have the same problem when they are trying to come home from the shopping centre.
