Dear Editor,
Highest praise to newcomer Sharon in Woodhaven!
Learning how to deal with a disability, I have utmost respect to you all for your patience. Thank you very much! It regrettably takes a short moment of your time when I’m finished to tuck my cards back in my wallet when I’m paying at a grocery store.
Now, for the elusive part. I wore out of energy after walking halfway home from the grocery store today. I bit off more than I could chew, you could say. Balancing with one arm on the fence, while I made my way closer to home. “Sharon” happened to be out walking her dog when she recognized I could use a hand. I don’t recall much of the few blocks back home, except for her name, and I did check her and her dog’s back for wings! Thank you for walking me home safely. And more importantly, thank you for restoring my faith in humanity.
