Wildlife in town should be treated as wild

Dear Editor, Regarding your front page article on June 5, may I say that it distresses me that we consider acceptable, cute and front page worthy the occupation by wild animals within town limits.

Dear Editor,

Regarding your front page article on June 5, may I say that it distresses me that we consider acceptable, cute and front page worthy the occupation by wild animals within town limits.

Deer, foxes and even coyotes have found a safe place within the town borders without predators and will continue occupy.

We have allowed them and even welcomed them.

May I remind all of us that they are in fact wild and need to be treated as such.

There should be no provision or acceptance for wild animals living in town limits.

It would be my vote that the Town or Fish and Wildlife or whoever is responsible quietly remove all deer, foxes and coyotes from town without media or public awareness.

We live beside one of the most excellent places on Earth for wildlife.

We should not be facilitating their expansion into the town.

Thank you.
