Eleven local artists will be among over 100 in the region taking part in the annual Calgary Artists Studio Tour this weekend.
The free self-guided tour, which runs from May 2 to 4, allows the public to explore artists’ studios located throughout Calgary and surrounding areas.
Participants will discover the creative spaces where local artists work, view their artworks and gain insights into their artistic process. They will be able to meet the artists, ask questions and purchase artwork directly.
This year’s tour features a diverse mix of artists with visual art, sculpture, photography and more on view. There will be a wide range of styles from realism to abstract and everything in between.
