'Cyril Tenjohn' performed with the Husky Tower Band in an at the Rotary Performing Arts Centre in Okotoks on March 3.

The Rotary Performing Arts Centre 'Felt the Love' last Friday night in a sold-out concert.

In a tribute concert to Sir Elton John, ostentatious pianist Rob Skeet, under the moniker Cyril Tenjohn, performed with the Husky Tower Band on March 3.

Sequin-studded fans packed the RPAC pews for a performance that raged on through five costume changes over three-and-a-half hours.

Ten such glittering patrons from Calgary made a night of it, renting hotel rooms at the Best Western Plus Okotoks Inn & Suites, wining and dining at a local pub, before hitting the concert.

"It's been amazing, he's so talented and we're just having a blast tonight," said Kelsey Murdoch, adding it was totally worth the trek from her north Calgary neighbourhood of Coventry Hills, along with friends who came from as far as Airdrie.

"I work with a couple of the ladies who've seen him before and know him, so I found some bling and just came and had a blast."
