High River author Shelly Raine will be at Tribal Connections Market in Okotoks this weekend to sign copies of her newest book: The Universe I AM: Know Yourself.
The book signing will take place on Saturday, March 15 from 1 to 3 p.m.
The Universe I AM is billed as a transformative guide to elevate self-awareness and world consciousness.
When asked what she wants readers to take away from the book, Raine said, “I want them to remember, fully accept and embrace who they truly are, because there is so much available to them in that state.”
Complete with practical tools, techniques and exercises, the book aims to empower readers to shift from mere thinking to profound feeling, helping them reconnect with their authentic self.
Every chapter opens with a captivating real-life story and wraps up with reflective pieces designed to inspire complete understanding and integration of readers’ newfound knowledge.
“Prepare to embark on a journey of self-discovery that promises not just to inform, but to transform your experience of life,” Raine said.
Raine is an author, visual artist, musician, energy healer and spiritual guide. Her early career included time as a radio announcer and commercial copywriter, but her desire to help others led her to become an educational activist and later pursue further education in social work.
Raine has written and published five books, composed more than 20 songs and created multiple art pieces.
A respite worker, Raine enjoys creating songs, visual art pieces, prose and poetry to help people reconnect to their childlike curiosity and become their most authentic selves.
