One person in critical condition has been transported by ground ambulance to hospital after a collision between a cyclist and a vehicle west of Okotoks.
STARS Air Ambulance was called but unable to attend to the scene.
Highway 549 is closed at the intersection of 354 Avenue where the incident occurred.
Captain Brooks Hocking with Okotoks Fire confirmed the collision was between a cyclist and a vehicle.
The call came in at approximately 3:20 p.m.
No other injuries have been reported and an investigation into the cause is underway.
It is unclear when the road will reopen to traffic.
