The Heartbeat of Hospice Radiothon is set to take over the airwaves on Thursday, Feb. 13, broadcasting live on The Eagle 100.9FM from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. in support of Foothills Country Hospice.
The day-long fundraising event will share emotional stories from families, volunteers and staff, showcasing the profound impact of hospice care in the community.
“Our hospice is so much more than a medical facility — it is a promise to our community that no one faces the end of life alone,” said Shanon Maksymich, fund development officer. “By tuning in and donating, people are helping us continue to provide the highest level of care and support to those in need.”
Listeners will have the opportunity to donate online (countryhospice.org), give in-person at various locations throughout the Foothills or text to give (text “HEART” to 30333) to ensure continued access to compassionate end-of-life and bereavement care for those in need.
The event will feature live interviews, heart-to-heart stories and real-time donation updates, creating an engaging and heartfelt experience for listeners.
All proceeds go directly to the Compassion in Action Capital Campaign, helping Foothills Country Hospice expand its services, support more families and build long-term financial sustainability.
For those unable to contribute financially, there are many other ways to help. Sharing the Radiothon with friends and family, signing up for the Hospice eNewsletter, or simply engaging with the Hospice on social media are all meaningful ways to show support.
