Motorcyclist killed in Foothills County crash

A 27-year-old Calgary man died when his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck on Highway 762 in Foothills County.
Turner Valley RCMP say two pick up trucks were stolen and personal items were taken from unlocked vehicles in the overnight hours on Oct. 18.
Turner Valley RCMP said one man died as the result of a collision in Foothills County on May 14.

A motorcyclist died Sunday following a two-vehicle collision in Foothills County. 

The collision took place on Highway 762 at 195 Avenue at 3 p.m. on May 14, Turner Valley RCMP said in a press release. 

The initial investigation found that the motorcycle was travelling southbound when it collided with a pickup truck travelling northbound.

A 27-year-old male from Calgary was found deceased when emergency crews arrived. 

A collision analyst attended the scene, and the investigation is ongoing, RCMP said. 

The RCMP issued thoughts and prayers to family and friends of the victim and said no further information will be released.
