An Okotoks man is facing charges in connection with several break-ins to businesses in and around Okotoks.
On Jan. 27 Okotoks RCMP executed a search warrant and recovered items stolen during the break-ins.
Michael Gustafson, 39, has been charged with five counts of break and enter and three counts of mischief to property.
Gustafson has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Okotoks provincial court on Feb. 19.
Nanton RCMP have arrested a man and woman for a series of break-ins in businesses in the Foothills and Calgary.
On Jan. 12, Nanton RCMP began investigating reports of residents in the town alleged to have been involved in several thefts and were in possession of stolen property.
Several hundred items were recovered after RCMP executed a search warrant at a home in town.
Police have determined the items were stolen from several locations in Okotoks, Nanton, Calgary, as well as other locations.
Most of the items was taken from businesses and includes antiques, electronics and tools.
RCMP have charged Dustin Sklerek, 28, and Bryanna Hollingsworth, 21, with 41 criminal counts of possession of property obtained from crime, as well as charges related to the possession of narcotics.
