Minivan almost ends up in Sheep River in single-vehicle crash

Emergency crews are on the scene of a single-vehicle accident on Highway 22, near the bridge in Diamond Valley.

Emergency crews are on the scene of a single-vehicle accident on Highway 22, near the bridge in Diamond Valley.

The accident occurred at approximately 2:50 p.m. on May 24 when a minivan left the road on the west side of the bridge.

Initial reports said the vehicle almost went into the Sheep River.

The driver and lone occupant was transported to hospital with minor injuries and the cause of the accident is unknown.
