Cimarron resident Sharon Peters shares photos of a three-legged deer she said she sees quite frequently, usually close to the Sheep River.
These photos were taken early in the morning of Thursday, July 14.
Peters believes the deer must have been hit by a car last year as she said its leg was dangling for quite some time before it fell off, likely last winter, but it appears to have healed nicely.
She said one of the deer’s antlers is really wonky too.
