Junior lacrosse season is upon us this weekend in Okotoks.
The Okotoks Marauders vault into the 2025 Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League Jr. B Tier I regular season with an inter-divisional clash with St. Albert’s Crude Lacrosse Club at the Murray Arena on Saturday, April 26 at 5 p.m.
Okotoks finished with 10 wins last season, its third most in franchise history, to finish second in the division behind the Calgary Shamrocks for a third consecutive campaign.
The Marauders’ run ended last summer in the first round of the postseason.
The team was powered by a strong offence led by captain Jacob Harlow and rookie sensation Drew Dunbar, a 42-goal scorer last season, backed by a gritty defensive unit.
The Okotoks Junior Ladies Raiders jump into their regular season the following week with two road games ahead of the home opener on May 7 at 8 p.m. versus the Calgary Cardinals.
