Allan Clarence Oborne, passed away peacefully on May 5th at the Rising Sun Long Term in Black Diamond Alberta.

July 22, 1932 – May 5, 2020

He was a man of many talents loved to tell stories and was self educated. He had a great love of guns especially the Winchester and loved the art of a good deal. Through his dealings he made many friends. Allan never knew what a great gift of salesmanship he possessed until he acquired a job with Barber industries and there started his great journeys around this earth. He visited all continents except Antarctica through his work and wanderlust to see and experience new places.

During his life he was an avid outdoorsman who loved the quiver of the line as a fish struck as much as game in his sites.
He found great peace in the great outdoors from a very early age.

Allan was predeceased by his mother and father Edith and Leroy Oborne, daughter Michelle MacMahon and granddaughter Nicole Poirier.

He leaves behind his loving family, wife of 44 years Myrna Oborne,
Sons Don (Yang Hong), Dion (Ashley), Darrell, Mitchell (Tammy), son in law Jeff, Daughter Lorna, 14 Grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers donations would gladly be accepted to the Rising Sun Long Term in Black Diamond and a full obituary of Allan’s Wonderful life can be found at www.snodgrassfuneralhomes.com

A celebration of Allan’s life will be held on a Future date.
