With overwhelming sadness and much love we
mourn the passing of Agnes Dingeldein, known
by all as Nancy, on September 19, 2023 at South
Health Campus in Calgary from kidney failure.
She leaves behind her loving family, husband
Ken, daughter Lisa, son-in-law David, son
Richard (Ben) and her beloved grandchildren,
Skylar (Colby), Bryn (Ozz) and Tanner (Sydney).
Nancy was born on April 27, 1933 in Oakley, Fife,
Scotland.

She emigrated to Canada in 1957 where she
met Ken in Edmonton. They were married in
August 1963.

She was devoted to her family and accompanied
her husband when his employment took them to
Drayton Valley, London, England and Aberdeen,
Scotland.

The family returned to Canada in 1980 and set
up home in Okotoks where her children and
grandchildren were raised.

She spent many years caring for her
grandchildren and ensuring that they arrived at
school and their numerous after school activities
safely.

Nancy and her husband were residents of
Calvanna Village in Okotoks for the past
15 years where she made many friends.
We are truly grateful for the care and attention
Nancy received from the staff at South Health
Campus who did everything possible to make
her last days painless and comfortable.

In lieu of flowers please consider a
donation to Foothills Country Hospice. A
celebration of Nancy’s life will be held on
Saturday, September 30 2pm at Snodgrass
Funeral Home, Okotoks.
