February 9, 1944 – February 24, 2024
It is with sorrow that the wife of Bernard (Bernie) Cox announces his peaceful passing on February 24, 2024.
Bernie was born on February 9, 1944 to parents Ivan and Laura Marie Cox (nee Gibson).
Bernie worked as a chemical engineer/project engineer for 35 years with Imperial Oil before retirement. Bernie had many interests such as antique radios, transistor radios, antique vehicles and a love for baseball.
Bernie married his loving wife Margaret in 1969, the two shared an adventurous marriage together traveling to numerous places. After being transferred to Calgary in 1981, they decided to settle in Okotoks, Alberta.
Bernie was preceded in death by his infant son, Samuel in 1977 and is survived by his wife, Margaret.
Bernie had much life experience and lived a beautiful life.
As per Bernie’s request, there will be no service held. A graveside will take place at Alvinston Cemetery, Ontario in the coming weeks.
