1939 - 2023

Mr. Lark IsBell, a lifelong resident of High River,
passed away at the High River Hospital on
August 30, 2023, at the age of 83 years.

Lark will be dearly missed by his loving wife of
sixty-three years Lynne. Their children: Susan
(Garth) Brookwell of High River, Mark of Calgary,
Cathy (George) Palmer of High River.Hismemory
will be cherished by his grandchildren: Katrina
Brookwell (Adam Carney) and their daughter
Ava Carney, Alanna Brookwell (Emile Mathys)
and their son Lucas Mathys, Trey Palmer
(Alexis Brochu).

Lark was born and raised in High River, the
youngest child of seven children to Ted and
Myrtle IsBell. Lark had many accomplishments
in his lifetime, some including E.M.T education
at both N.A.I.T. and S.A.I.T. and the Vermilion
Firefighter Training. Lark served with both
Highwood EMS and the High River Fire
Department for 29 years. 10 of those years
Lark was the Fire Chief eventually retiring in
1999. Other achievements he was proud of
included being a chuckwagon outrider, rodeo
flat racing and being owner/operator of E and
R trucking.

The past two years Lark was a resident of the
High River Hospital Long Term Care where he
received the best care and compassion from all
the staff and doctors of the High River Hospital.

A Private Family Service will be held at a
later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider
donations in memory of Lark, to the
