Isabel, surrounded by her loving family, passed away on February 21st,
2024 at the age of 98.

Isabel was born on October 5th, 1925, in High River. She was raised in the
Foothills west of Longview and lived most of her life in the Oilfields area.
For the past five years she resided at Tudor Manor in Okotoks.

Isabel was predeceased by her husband Dave, her parents Frank and
Marjorie Swan, her brother Reg Swan, sister Val Maloff, and niece Marj
Lenz. She is survived by her children Christine Pyra (Joe), Francis Leman
(Penny), Ken Leman, Rob Leman, Steve Leman, Diane Diebel (Clarence)
and Pam Huestis (Don). She had 16 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren
and 3 great great grandchildren in addition to many nieces and nephews.

Isabel was an avid gardener, exceptional baker and loved to knit and
sew. Her passion was feeding people which she did with much love.
She volunteered countless hours in the community. From clubs,
organizations and church activities, she was always willing to pitch in
and lead. She will be fondly remembered for her great stories about her
life experience. Her generous and joyful spirit will be cherished by all
those she leaves behind.

Special thanks to the staff at Tudor Manor and to Isabel’s companion
Debbie for the love and compassion shown to her in her final years.

Funeral service will be held on March 16, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Snodgrass
Funeral Home 200 Woodgate Road, Okotoks.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tudor Manor 200 Sandstone
Drive Okotoks AB T1S 1R1 or St. George’s Anglican Church in Turner
Valley AB T0L 2A0.
