April 3, 1932 - September 12, 2023
Stanley was a remarkable individual who left
an endearing mark on the lives of all those
who knew him. He was married to Marion
Margaret Hoffman (nee Schwartz) for 67 years
and together they had 3 children: Colleen, Kirk
and Mark. He was the proud grandfather to
8 granddaughters and 4 grandsons, and a
great grandfather to 3 great granddaughters
and 4 great grandsons. He was also a beloved
brother to one brother and three sisters.
Stanley was a pioneer missionary, and planted
churches in 8 African countries for the Church
of God mission, and as an ordained minister
was passionate about training pastors and
evangelism, leaving an incredible legacy of
being a Godly servant. He received Doctorates
from 2 Universities for his outstanding work in
missions, and an author, publishing 8 books
on his life in Africa.
A celebration of Stanley’s life was held
on September 23, 2023, at the Millarville
Community Church. Friends and family
joined in remembering and honoring his
extraordinary life.
