We are sad to announce the passing of our
father, Vern (Smitty) James Smith at the
young age of 65.
Left to cherish Vern’s memory are his children
Colt, Payton (Julie), Keeley (Clayton). His
grandchildren Emma, Ryder, Emmett, Ivy,
Weston, and Cooper. His mother Violet,
siblings Bill (Carey), Adele (Randy) and Craig.
Vern was predeceased by his father Stewart
and youngest sister Michelle.
Vern’s love for horses, motorcycles and his
family and friends will be cherished by all
who knew him.

Celebration of life Friday, October 27,
2023 at 2:00p.m. at the Flare n’ Derrick in
Diamond Valley, Alberta.
