Have a very Merry Christmas

In less than a week it will all be over. The only thing left to do will be to take the different products to recycling. We will all have eaten too much, and spent too much, but give us a year and we will do it all over again.

We will all have eaten too much, and spent too much, but give us a year and we will do it all over again.

Check out our Last Minute Gift Guide in this issue to help you complete your shopping.

Also, if you are in the mood to sing come on into our office and pick up some Christmas Carol Song Books.

We have plenty for you and your friends and, best of all, the books are free.

An update on our Western Wheel Cares charity fundraiser finds us at just over $16,000 today.

We have until Dec. 31 to accept your donations. We have smashed my goal already but wouldn’t $20,000 be a nice round number to share with the four charities? If you need more information on this project you will find it in this issue or give us a call at 403-938-6397 or go online at www.westernwheel.com

This issue also contains a section of Christmas Greetings from many of our wonderful businesses throughout the Foothills. We are fortunate to have the fantastic retail base we have. I love being able to do all my shopping without having to fight the city traffic. Actually, if they were smart Calgarians would come out here to shop.

For those who keep track of the Toronto Blue Jays let me tell you they are going to put a contender on the field next season. No team has done as well as them in the trades this fall.

As we all know there have been a lot of horrific news over the past year. It should make us all closer during this Christmas season and don’t be afraid to tell the people close to you that you love them and are proud of them. Enjoy your family and friends and have the best Christmas ever.

Just a thank-you to D’Arcy Ranch for the nice light display at their entrance. It provides a nice welcome to Okotoks.
