Dear Editor,
We all know there are many things to be concerned about and sometimes complain about, but I also want you to hear about the kind and caring community we live in.
On Saturday, Oct. 12 at around 11:30 a.m., my husband and visiting brother were crossing Big Rock Trail near Dollarama when my brother stumbled and fell, landing face first on the pavement.
He was quite shaken up and bleeding profusely. A kind woman stopped her car, gave him a clean white towel to staunch the bleeding and drove him and my husband first to two dentists and then home where we decided he needed to go to Urgent Care.
I want to thank her for taking the time out of her day to stop and help. You went above and beyond.
I would also like to thank the doctors and nurses and registrar at Okotoks Urgent Care for their swift and kind treatment of his injuries.
If that woman would like her towel back in much better condition that when I first saw it, please contact me through the Wheel so I can return it. I would like to thank you personally. You reminded me of all the good in the world.
