The line dancers will share a Christmas luncheon on Dec. 13. Anyone who has danced with us this year is most welcome to join us and bring your significant other. Dancing, as usual, at 10 a.m. and lunch to follow.
The Wednesday bridge luncheon was enjoyed by 32 bridge players. John Barlow was our special guest. Esther gave him a half hour of Bridge 101. The winners were Donna Armstrong, Sylvia Binkley, Joan Clark and Rose Monvoisin.
The floor curling turkey shoot and pot luck luncheon will be on Dec. 17. We have enough turkey left from the Christmas party, so salads, desserts etc. would be welcome.
VNC Garden Club will meet on Dec. 13 at 1:30 p.m. I know you have all received an email from Sharon outlining the supplies necessary if you are going to participate in the Christmas tree project. If anyone would like to pay their 2013 memberships that day, I would be happy to issue your new membership card.
My heart aches with sadness from the loss of a dear old friend. We send our love and prayers to Dode and her family on Andy’s passing. The service will be held at Christ Church Millarville on Saturday, Dec. 15 at 1 p.m.
