What a lovely Christmas. I love the quote attributed to Burton Hills which goes: “The best gift around any Christmas tree is the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other,” and I’m happy to say, that was our family on Christmas day. We were missing Gloria and Barry, Kayla and Dean’s family, but we did pretty well. We had 27 for dinner and Loraine, Holly and Chase stayed overnight. It couldn’t get any better than Christmas 2012 at our house.
We’re into a new year, I hope it brings only good things, but I’m not naive enough to believe that could possibly happen. I guess we have to make the best of what life hands us.

We send our condolences to Carol and Jim McCreary on the loss of Carol’s mom. I was not privileged to know her, but I think that was my loss.
