Our annual 80 and over birthday party will be held on May 26. There is a sign up sheet on the board. Anyone in the area is welcome to attend. You do not have to be a VNC member. If you know of anyone who is celebrating an 80-85-90-95 or 100th birthday this year, please make us aware so that an official invitation can be mailed out.
Our 55-plus representative will be at our March 7 meeting to fill us in on the senior games activities upcoming.

The eagles are back at their nest on Decalta Road. That and the new baby calf in my neighbour’s field give me hope that spring is just around the corner. March 20 is the first day of spring. Even though, at the moment, we are in the middle of a blinding snowstorm.
