On Tuesday evening the first water and growth consultation meetings were held. This Saturday, May 12 a second interactive workshop will be held at the Foothills Centennial Centre. The sessions are facilitated by Ipsos Reid and will help council with their decision of growth or no growth when they debate it in council Chambers on June 25th. For Saturday’s session you must be an Okotoks resident and pre registered by Thursday at 4pm. The session will run from 10am to noon. To register please call 403-938-8033 or register online at Okotoks.ca

A third session will be held on Tuesday, June 5th from 8a.m. to 10 p.m. for Okotoks businesses only. Please pre register for this session as well.

These are extremely important sessions for the future of our community. All residents have a chance to be heard and please take that opportunity.

To grow or not to grow? That is the question!

The Western Wheel "Parade of Garage Sales" is slated for Saturday, May 19th. If you want your sale included you have until end of day Thursday, May 10th to register at our office. You will then be included on the map and have a chance to win a $50.00 or $100.00 shopping spree at a participating business.

It's a great time to get rid of those treasures that just sit there and collect dust. [like my skill saw and other handy man tools!]
