Dear Editor,
I was watching the news the other morning and Bill Robertson, our mayor suggested he will pass a bylaw to allow people to store their recreation vehicles on their driveways.
Please Mr. Mayor what are you thinking? In today’s society, not everyone takes care of their property. Before you know it there will be broken down trailers and motor homes stored on driveways (maybe throw a tarp on top of the old trailer because the rain is getting in.)
Then the trailer or motor home is never moved so every day you have to pull into your own driveway and look at this eye-sore. Pretty soon your neighbourhood looks like a run down trailer park. Is this what you want your neighbourhood to look like?
In a perfect world if everyone was proud of their property and wanted it to look nice this would work, but that is not how everyone thinks.
Please, please think hard before you open this can of worms.
