Komet Pulse Therapy Increases Human and Pet Well-being in Millarville

Gibbons launched Komet Pulse Therapy about a year and a half ago. She says, “I really enjoy working with animals and really enjoy alternative therapies where I can take care of my body in a natural way and do preventive care for myself and my animals. That led me to wanting to provide it for others as well.”

Imagine all the benefits of a good massage – amplified thanks to Pulsed Electromagnetic Field therapy, or PEMF. Now, imagine that is not just you benefiting from this therapy, but also your entire family including the four legged pet members. This is the holistic wellness vision Taylor Gibbons, owner of Komet Pulse Therapy, is bringing to life in Millarville, Alberta.

Unlike a massage where the muscles are pushed and pulled, PEMF uses a device that sends pulses of magnetic energy into the body – energy that works with your own energetic magnetic field by influencing (via an electrical charge) the way your cells respond to pressure and pain. PEMF is part of a whole-body approach that has proven to be a safe, effective, natural treatment.

Gibbons explains on her website, “[Through PEMF] proteins are metabolized more efficiently and used within the cell tissue. When the cell membrane is more permeable, it promotes the cells to pump out waste and toxins and pump in good nutrients that help the body’s lymphatic system work more efficiently. PEMF is used to support athletic performance, conditioning and the general health and wellness of our four-legged partners, as well as ourselves.”

While Gibbons has experience as a veterinary assistant, she is quick to point out that she is not a vet, nor a doctor. She does not provide medical treatment or prescriptions. Komet Pulse Therapy is not a medical establishment for treating and healing, but a place to get alternative therapy to help boost overall body wellness. She owns and is trained on the PEMF device, and has a natural caring knack for helping to improve the daily lives of her clients and their dogs and horses.

Some wonder if PEMF is a fringe therapy, but Gibbons is happy to point to its science-based results. In fact, science is her field of study.

“I graduated from Olds College’s equine science program and with a major in western horsemanship. That, along with my time as a vet assistant, helps me with my business and understanding animal anatomy.” She continues, “A lot of people don’t understand alternative therapies; a lot of people are only interested in a quick result. PEMF is not a quick fix, nor a one-process thing. The benefits are built up over time. Think of it like going to the gym. You can’t go for one hour and walk out looking like a body builder. The process works but it takes time.”

It’s a process that her growing client list can attest to. Gibbons is a natural animal lover and knows how to calm and care for her four-legged clients. The reduction in pain and increased wellness and vitally clients experience have them singing Komet’s praises in glowing testimonials.

Gibbons says, “A big thank you to all my clients who supported me during Komet’s startup. A big thank you to everyone that has been a part of my journey this far, and will be in the future. I also want to thank my parents. Without them I would not be where I am.”

She looks forward to continuing to build her client base while keeping up with her existing client’s maintenance programs. During it all Gibbons will continue to raise awareness of the benefits of PEMF for humans and animals.
