Experience a taste of the past with carriage rides at Heritage Park. This unique limited-time adventure allows you to journey back through the years, soaking in the rich history of Western Canada from the comfort of a beautifully restored horse-drawn carriage. You will be taken on a scenic tour of the park, observing its historical landmarks and absorbing the stories that have shaped Canada's Western heritage.
Each carriage ride is a personalized experience, tailored to ensure your comfort and enjoyment. The carriages are lovingly maintained, providing a comfortable ride while maintaining their vintage charm.
Carriage Rides at Heritage Park are scheduled for March 27, 28, and 29, with rides starting at various times from 10 am to 2:30 pm. The rides will start and end at the front gates of the Historical Village. Click here to book now.
Guests are advised to arrive a few minutes early as latecomers may have a shortened ride or might not be accommodated. Parking is free for 90 minutes in the Heritage Park lot, meaning you’ll have lots of time to get your ride in and get back, without having to pay for parking.
Each ride lasts for about 20 to 25 minutes, with a maximum capacity of seven riders. Children aged two and under can sit on an adult's lap and won't count towards the capacity.
Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by Heritage Park due to weather or road conditions. Any unsold tickets will be available for purchase at the Gasoline Alley Museum on the day of the event.
