On behalf of Diamond Valley staff and council, I would like to wish everyone the merriest of Christmas cheer and a happy holiday season.
Take this very special time and enjoy your family, friends and your community. This is a time for reflection on the past year’s accomplishments and the next year’s ambitions.
If I can offer any advice, it would be this: Put family first in all your affairs and take care of yourself, emotionally, physically and mentally. Material objects are just things but memories last forever and that should be your goal this holiday.
Make amazing memories that you can cherish as a family or with friends. Try and help a neighbour over the holidays and lend a helping hand where you can, and as always, be safe, be kind and be courteous.
While we all want to celebrate, we also need to be safe and remember to celebrate responsibly, so please don’t drink and drive or drive under the influence.
