An open house is coming up for a residential community proposed for Diamond Valley.

Planning is underway for a residential neighbourhood in Diamond Valley.

Developers are holding an open house for the Diamond Ridge proposal on Thursday, March 13 at the Flare ‘n Derrick Community Hall, from 5 to 8 p.m.

The residential community would be built in Turner Valley, on land west of Main Street near Decalta Road.

The open house is an opportunity for the public to ask questions and share feedback about the new residential community, Township Planning + Design said.

The proposal includes an area structure plan, which is a long-term planning document that guides future development.

Types and sizes of development are specified, and other details are included about the look and feel of a neighbourhood, environmental and social considerations, and more.
