Firefighters extinguished an electrical fire at the water treatment plant in Turner Valley on Sunday night.
Diamond Valley Fire Rescue said a fire alarm was triggered at the treatment plant just after 11 p.m. on June 8.
Smoke was coming from the building when fire crews arrived, prompting additional firefighters to be called in.
After gaining entry to the building, firefighters located the fire in an industrial power box.
The power box involved in the fire will not impact operations of the water treatment plant and all operations at the facility remain functional.
Foothills County, which operates the plant, attended the site and confirmed the building remains fully operational, the fire department said.
