2023 Alberta Summer Games

Diners got to explore the world of BBQ while supporting the 2023 Alberta Summer Games at a fundraising dinner on March 2.

Nominations are being accepted for participants in a Torch Celebration that will take place in Okotoks and Diamond Valley on eve of the Games.

Provincial bragging rights will be on the line in 14 sports at the 2023 Alberta Summer Games this July.

Even though the Town of Diamond Valley became official last month, it's Okotoks and Black Diamond that are hosting the Games this July.

Organizers are looking to the business community to provide monetary, in-kind and at-cost donations as preparations for the mini-Olympics intensify on a variety of fronts. 

Complete with a torch relay, opening ceremonies and athletes’ villages, the Alberta Summer Games are a “mini-Olympics” coming to Okotoks and Black Diamond this July.

Guest ambassadors are needed for each of the 14 sports venues when the Alberta Summer Games come to Okotoks and Black Diamond next July.

Request for proposal includes hand-painting a 25-foot mural, piano and smaller rendition for Black Diamond/Diamond Valley.
