‘Dough-Nation Day’ at COBS Bread in Okotoks is being held on Saturday, March 2.

‘Dough-Nation Day’ at COBS Bread in Okotoks’ Centennial Village will be the culmination of a month-long campaign to raise $4,500 for the Sheep River Health Trust.

Set for Saturday, March 2, ‘Dough-Nation Day’ will see $2 from the sale of every pack of hot cross buns go to the trust.

Sheep River Health Trust representatives will be on site from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to speak with customers about the value of their donations and the projects they help support in the community.

Customers can donate any amount at the till until March 1.

While COBS has been a longstanding member of the Okotoks community, Daisy Sangha is a new franchisee who is looking to make a difference by raising funds for health and wellness in the Foothills.

Every COBS franchise owner gets to choose their charity of choice for February and Sangha chose the Sheep River Health Trust because of her previous experience as a nurse and her firsthand knowledge of the need for financial support for local health and wellness resources.

The Sheep River Health Trust is dedicated to supporting the provision of comprehensive health services in the Foothills. The trust aims to promote health and well-being throughout local communities by working in partnership with area residents.

The trust is a registered charitable organization that raises funds to maintain and enable health services and wellness programs for the residents of Longview, Diamond Valley, Millarville, DeWinton, Okotoks and the surrounding rural area.
