Concert a fundraiser for Okotoks Ag Society

“It is quite remarkable the exchange we are getting from audiences right now,” said Travelling Mabel Keith Floen. “We are getting as much enjoyment from them as they are getting to see people play.”

Concert aimed to help stabilize society, with Alberta bands Over the Moon, the Travelling Mabels, and the Blake Reid Band set to take the stage.

Starting Aug. 13 and running for a week, Goodger-Pink Family Theatre will be holding a live performance of Jack & the Beanstalk in Drake Landing.

“I could not fall asleep so my mom came and told us a story and it was so amazing, we decided to do a story about it,” said seven-year-old Luke Rioux, a student at École Good Shepherd School.
