Alberta is the richest province yet it has the lowest per-student funding of public schools, not to mention the largest class sizes, in the country.

The us-against-them mentality pervasive in politics at the highest levels has no place around the local council or school board table.

Okotoks might need to start levying some fines in order for residents to stop feeding the deer.

Killing animals as a quick fix is not the solution.

Let’s erect large signs beside the Welcome to Okotoks signs that say: “Do Not Feed the Wildlife."

There is very little I can do as an individual to combat this alarming rising cost of living, but growing some of my own food is one of them. 

Speeding in our small towns has gone on far too long. 

Could it be that Town councillors were not wise enough to realize the ramifications of their approval votes?

Preserving a desired moment in time is not that simple because even if you're able to do so in one place, it marches on all around you.
